Sharjah Department of Culture (SDC) launched the eleventh issue of the monthly “Al Qawafi” magazine, the editorial of which came under the title: “Sharjah and the Shadows of Creativity”.
The new issues is a clear testimony that Sharjah has been there during the current crisis of COVIDD-19 that has paralleled all walks of life, and has proven the emirate’s ability to open realistic horizons for creative communication in a time of virtual communication.
The issue hosted several renowned poets and authors and covered a considerable selection of poems dealing with various poetic topics and themes.
The issue was concluded by a poetry talk by the editor-in-chief of the magazine, Mohammed Al Buraiki, in which he highlighted the significance of poetry considering it the oxygen of life and the ambitious eyes of tomorrow.
