Nouakchott Poetry House called all Mauritanian poets and critics to participate in “Sharjah Award for Arabic Poetry Criticism” after the Department of Culture in Sharjah has set end of September as the deadline for receiving participations.
Abdullah Al Said, head of Nouakchott Poetry House, stated that this generous gesture of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is an important effort that complements the roles of Poetry Houses all over the Arab world.
Critiquing a poetic text is another creative text in its own merits and is a valuable addition to the research body, Al Said concluded.
