Activities of the 40th edition of the Aseelah International Cultural Forum have concluded on Saturday, July 21st, 2018. Secretary General of the Aseelah Forum Foundation, Mohammed Bin Issa, said that he is not sure about whether there will be future editions of the cultural forum, stating that the Aseelah Forum is facing an uncertain future. “I am not sure if there will be a 41st edition of the Aseelah International Cultural Forum. I am not saying that it will not be taking place, but I am frankly unsure regarding the future of the forum. We hereby conclude the 40th edition of the Aseelah Forum and all we can do is pray that there will be another edition of the Forum in the future,” Bin Issa stated.
Moreover, Bin Issa explained that what has been accomplished in the city of Aseelah needs more resources and efforts, stressing that the financial means currently available are very limited and are becoming less and less. On the other hand, Bin Issa called upon the people of Aseelah to work harder in the aim of ensuring the development and progress of their city, stressing the importance of human resources and the youth and the need for self-reliance.
