Arabic Studies Center organises a remote press conference

 Gulf Educational Center for Arabic Studies in Sharjah organised a remote press conference, to shed light on the various details, objectives and areas of the Extraordinary International Arabic Language Conference in Sharjah, which is held under the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah, entitled “Distance education in teaching Arabic”.

In view of the exceptional circumstances that the world is going through as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and the great expansion that the world is witnessing in the implementation of distance learning programmes, the Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the UAE, will organise an international Arab language remote conference, in response to the current conditions. The conference will be held from 25 to 27 October, for 3 continuous days.

Dr. Issa Al Hammadi, Director of the Gulf Educational Center for Arabic Studies, invited those who are researchers and specialists from the Arab world to submit a presentation of the latest studies and scientific research in the field of distance education and its link to performance in the Arabic language, so as to include it in the agenda of the conference.

He explained that the deadline for receiving the researches is with a CV, personal photo and a copy of the passport will be on 15th September, provided that the first of October allocates a date by notifying the researchers to accept their abstracts, provided that the conference programme is sent to the participating researchers on the 10th October.

He emphasised that the conference benefits all public and private schools and teachers of the Arabic language broadly, and those concerned in this field, and the conference is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
